What is a Landing Page? #
A landing page in Divi is specifically designed to capture the visitors’ attention and guide them towards a specific action, such as making a purchase or subscribing to an email list. These pages are often the entry point to a digital marketing campaign and are optimized to convert visitors into customers or leads.
Steps to Import a Landing Page: #
1. Creation or Selection of a Page: Create a new page on your WordPress site where you want to import the landing page. If you already have a page, simply access it.
2. Activation of Divi’s Visual Builder: Once on the page, activate Divi’s visual builder.
3. Importing the .JSON File: Go to the bottom of the page, in Divi’s contextual menu, and click on the “two arrows” symbol. In the screen that appears, select the “import” tab, choose the .JSON file you have downloaded and want to import, and click on the “import Divi Builder Layout” button.
4. Wait for the Import Process: The duration of this process depends on the size of the .JSON file and the number of images it contains. Your server’s capacity to process these files also affects this process.
Common Errors and Solutions: #
Import Error: Make sure the .JSON file is not corrupt and is compatible with Divi.
Design Does Not Display Correctly: Check that you are using the latest version of Divi.
Long Wait During Import: This may be due to server limitations. Consider increasing your server’s resources.
