What is a Landing Page in Divi 5? #

Before you start #
Before starting the import process, make sure you have the correct file ready.
- Unzip the file downloaded from our platform
- After downloading the file from our platform, you must unzip it on your computer.
- Inside the extracted folder, you will find one or more files, including a file with a .json extension.
This .json file is the one you will use to import the landing page into Divi 5.

Steps to import a Landing Page in Divi 5 #
Create or select a page: From the WordPress dashboard, create a new page where you want to import the landing page.
If the page already exists, simply edit it.

Activate the Divi Builder: Inside the page, click “Edit with Divi” to launch the Divi 5 visual builder.
Import the .JSON file #
Once inside the editor, go to the bottom of the screen and open the Divi contextual menu.
Click the double-arrow icon (Import / Export).

In the popup window, select the “Import” tab, choose the .json file you previously extracted, and click the “Import Layout” button.

Wait for the import process. The import time depends on the size of the .json file, the number of images included, and your server resources.
Do not refresh or close the page while the import is in progress.
Once completed, the landing page will appear in the editor and will be ready for customization.
Common errors and solutions #
- Import error
Make sure the file is a valid .json file exported from Divi and that it is not corrupted. - Layout not displaying correctly
Ensure you are using the latest version of Divi 5 and that the theme is fully updated. - Import takes too long
This is usually caused by server limitations such as low memory or execution time. Check your hosting settings or contact your hosting provider.
